Posted March 13, 200321 yr comment_4153 Can he return to the level he was once at as a rookie? They say he is throwing strikes. If Ankiel throws strikes and is successful the Cardinals are in very good shape.... And I would see Ankiel returning to a huge role next year.... They have a history of easing pitchers back after major issues.... see Morris, Matt. March 14, 200321 yr comment_4154 Yea he has way better control now. He just got injured like last season. The Cards should call him up this season. He has a lively arm and great moving pitches when he pitches. The pitching coach down there was working with him ALOT...he has to get called up any time now Link to comment https://www.marlinsbaseball.com/topic/364-rick-ankiel/?&do=findComment&comment=4154 Share on other sites
March 14, 200321 yr comment_4155 You have to feel sorry for Rick I mean he was suppose to dominate the league one day and the next he was the laughing stock of the league throwing to the stands instead of his cather. I hope he makes it back, he's on track he just has to stay on track.
