Posted November 18, 200519 yr Figured I'd make my own thread. Pretty good one going on between UF and Wake. UF looks pretty tenacious on Defense right now. I hope they can keep it up.

November 18, 200519 yr Drexel is playing against some guy named Sam Houston for the privilege of getting walloped in the NIT Semis. Seriously, can't the NIT get some better teams for this thing? I don't care how good Sam Houston is; there's no way he's taking down Drexel on his own. Meanwhile, Wake lost. Could be a long year for some ACC powers.

Well, its obvious that the people that put the NIT together were going for the Duke-Missouri/Coach K-Quin thing for the semi's. The other side of the bracket is pretty solid, UCLA, Alabama, and Memphis.
November 18, 200519 yr Author Wake will be fine if they can control their turnovers. They play great defense and have some really good low post players to complement the perimeter shooters. Anyways, games these early in the season are just basically learning material, unless you're a Duke/Conn type of team. I liked what I saw out of the Gators tonight. Finally a team I can actually enjoy watching.
