November 18, 200520 yr Di-freaking-sgusting. I don't even want to hear about the soft penalties called on Cairns...the Panthers couldn't score on a 5-3 with 1:40, and they were 0-6 on the power play through two periods. Something needs to be done to shake this team up before this spirals way out of control.
November 18, 200520 yr This is just disgusting now. Even if I disagree heavily with the call on Roberts that lead to the second goal. But god f***ing damnit. This team is a sad excuse for an NHL team.
November 18, 200520 yr You guys are free to do what you want, of course, but do we really need a new thread every time the Panthers blow a game? At this point, it's like creating a thread every day the sun rises. Can't we just have an Official "The Panthers Suck" Thread?
November 18, 200520 yr Keenan needs to make a move. The Blue Jackets just got Federov for practically nothing, he needs to pull something like that off.
November 18, 200520 yr Author Keenan needs to make a move. The Blue Jackets just got Federov for practically nothing, he needs to pull something like that off. He should have pulled that off. Doug Weight won't be available until it's too late...and unless you think Marchant is the answer (which I don't given the three years left on his deal) there isn't much out there. Poti and Ninimaa are on the market, but other than that there aren't high priced risk/reward players out there like Fedorov. Counting the games until Olesz gets back, but there's a lot of hope unfairly pinned on a 20 year old...
November 18, 200520 yr Loss number 10 wonderful Seriously though, Ottawa is the best team in all the land. But this shows us that we need to make some deals or something. The good thing is that we are still 7 million under our projected payroll
November 19, 200520 yr Author Looking ahead at the schedule, the Panthers really could set the record of 19 straight losses. Isles Devils Pens at Thrashers Leafs Washington Chicago Ottawa Dallas In there, the only two that should be in the Panthers' favor are Washington and Chicago, and even then, those teams have 14 points to the Panthers' 16. However, the fact that every game except Atlanta is a home-game sure figures to be a plus.
