How close are Beckett and Burnett?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know. Were they real good friends on the Marlins? Is it possible that Burnett would sign with the team that Beckett is traded to if he is traded?

I don't think it would be an overriding factor in AJ's decision. He'll go to whomever offers him the best deal.

If I remember right, they actually didnt really get along too much. At least from what I had read before and heard on the radio

Beckett is closer to Willis really then alot of the others. Which is why I think Beckett must stay.

I don't this will be a factor unless Burnett gets essentially the same offer from the team Beckett is traded to and some other team. I get the impression they're friends, but they're not totally close. I think Josh and Dontrelle are closer.
