Beckett is pitching as good as anybody

Featured Replies

Wow! How does this keep happenning? If you look at Beckett's starts since the All-Star brek you can see how many of them have been quality starts. THis guy has pitched as well as anybody since the break, but the Marlins just don't seem to be able to score for him. We saw it again today in SF. Lately, this guy has been our ace, no question about it, and I believe an ace deserves a little support!

Cause Beckett doesn't help in key situations to get the extra run. Twice today with runners on first and second and not even a hit or walk. didn't even make the pitcher work.

He does well, then gets complacent and allows runs late like today. The offense helps, but the pitchers has to hit sometime. Jack should have lifted him for a PH in Josh's last AB and brought in Urbina to start the inning.

Yea beckett pitched a very good ball game but again we didnt hit. The bad thing is that the run Urbina gave up was charged to Beckett. This is Beckett's second outing he has pitched solid.
