Nothing yet I'm waiting just like you, so I'll post what's up down on the farm.

:D RHP Don Drysdale, I mean Jason Grilli allowed 2 runs -- one earned -- and 4 hits in 7 innings to snag his 6th win for Triple-A Albuquerque while Jason Grilli went 2-for-2 with a homer (1), 3 runs scored, and 2 RBIs as the Isotopes powersauced their way to a 13-2 blowout win over Nashville. Grilli has been pitching well for the 'Topes. He's 6-2 with a 3.38 ERA in 12 starts. The kid be back in the majors again someday. He's worked hard to come back from shoulder problems.

High-A Jupiter and Brevard County would split a doubleheader on Saturday. Brevard County would take game two of the DH, 3-1, as :angry LHP Michael Hinckley(we should trade for him instead of JWayne) continued his torrid pitching. Hinckley would pitch a 7-inning complete game to move to 4-0 with Brevard County. He allowed one run on 4 hits in his 7 innings of work, walking none while punching out 7. The 20-year-old left-hander is the Human Torch. He has a 0.72 ERA in 4 starts with the Manatees that's sick and he's struckout 23 batters in 25 innings while giving up 14 hits and only one walk. Hinckley has simply been amazing in the second half of the season. He's closing in on Prospect Olympus and will probable be the Spos top prospect going into next year. The Hammerheads would win game one of the DH, 1-0, as RHP Phil Akens struckout 10 batters in a 7-inning, 3-hit shutout. Akens has a 2.88 in 11 starts with Jupiter and he has yet to serve up a long ball in 65.2 innings very underrated pitcher for the Hammerheads. The 6-foot-6 right-hander is a "bigtime sleeper" prospect for the Marlins. If Akens, 21, ever finds consistency, he will really take off.

:thumbup The fish 2# round pick L.Kensing had a pretty good outing last night allowing 3H's in 5IN while walking 2 with 5K's

Yes, I'm still waiting to hear something...... :p

Good info as usual Ed. Do you know anything on 2B/3B Matt Erickson?? Hes EN FUEGO at the plate, but Im not sure of his arm/range at those positions. Any info there?

Matt Erickson can play 2B/SS/3B. His range and arm are both decent and he won't hurt you often in the field. Offensively, he hits not for power, but contact (he's hit .300 a few times) and has slightly above average speed.
