I'm watching the movie on ABC, and just noticed that in one of the away game, they play in Pro Player Stadium.

They must have needed somewhere to film in October. ;)

Do you mean January?

Or are you implying that the MARLINS season was over in October?

But of course.

Not this seaosn, my friend.

Pro Player will be working overtime this October, for the Marlins and the Dolphins both.

The movie was shot primarily in Miami about 5 years ago. I remember when there were ads in the paper asking for extras to come film the crowd scenes. The home stadium of the "Miami Sharks" was the Orange Bowl and Pro Player was said to be the stadium of the California team, I believe. Also, the Sharks practice facility was actually the Homestead Sports Complex, where the Cleveland Inidans were supposed to move their spring training until Hurricane Andrew hit.

Anyone find it a bit odd that the Miami Sharks have all black home uniforms?

why? the Heat have black, so do the marlins. not every team from here has to have teal or orange. black goes with everthing and everywhere i think
