February 24, 200620 yr Girardi first saw Miguel Cabrera in Double-A less than three years ago. Then on a rehab assignment with West Tennessee, the Cardinals' Double-A Southern League affiliate, Girardi played against Cabrera's Carolina Mudcats. Afterward, Girardi remembers asking him this question: "What are you still doing here?" "He looked like he belonged in the big leagues, hitting third," Girardi said. "Some hitters, you can just tell that they belong and they're special. They never get fooled on a pitch. They take pitches. They wait for a good pitch to hit. You could see that in one at-bat." http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/sfl-mar...ports-headlines
February 24, 200620 yr If he is that good with projections than maybe he'll prove it by putting the best lineup available up there. Maybe he'll place us the next few Cabreras and help us with the draft and everything ;-), thanks for the post it was great.
