March 16, 200620 yr Author They let him go to seek other options. They have Bellhorn, Blum, Castilla, Barfield. Plus roster problems with Adrian Gonzalez and Mike Piazza. .250 in ST; .343 OBP in MLB last year and his career. Also a switch-hitter.
