I am not saying anything here, for fear of you superstitious few out there, but I am just taking note of how well this season has gone thus far. It seems that whenever we need something, we get it. D-Train lifted us. Cabrera lifted our offense when summoned from AAA. Our pitching staff has constantly rose to the occasion to meet injury with sucess. But what is extremely telling lately is how we needed Cabs and Gonz to pick up their offense in order to have success in this stretch. It has happened, Gonz has been on fire these past couple of days and Cabs has been getting his timely hits. I dont know about you all, but this speaks well for the success of this team and their hopes down the stretch here. Just an observation...

and yes this team does have all the makings of a true contender, now only if we could get D Lee to be " clutch " ...

Good post, I totally agree with you . I really like the teamwork that they are showing , they are really showing alot of heart and emotion out there and also the drive to win. The only thing i worry about is the lack of run production in the first few innings of the games , don't get me wrong i do love the come from behind wins , it shows alot of fire , but we need some early runs against the better teams in the league .
