2005 or 2006?

Featured Replies

Pretty simple question...Which team is better? Last season or this season?

I am tempted to say this year, because they have been streaking for the past 2 months. But only time will tell. The playoffs loom

They needed to gel. So many new parts and now you are seeing them hit their stride. Just in time too. I would say they are better just because once the playoffs hit this team has more experience.

I know what you mean...Damon Jones, Keyon Dooling. Those guys were very athletic and energetic...more carefree I'd say.

this year seems more 'professional' and 'experienced'.

last year's team was better.

the recent 'streak' was such a fraud. we played some of the absolute worst teams in the NBA, we trailed late against most of them, and we managed to beat almost all of them in squeakers.

and the pundits go wild.

we're not hot at all.

On the contrary...You witnessed a (finally) healthy team. Earlier in the season, Williams, Shaq, Posey were all having injury issues. In the last two months everyone has been healthy.

Ya we've playing a fairly easy schedule, but we have been taking advantage--and that's what good teams do. :D

2006 is better. We're probably going to win 55-57 games even though Shaq and JWill, among others, have both missed a significant amount of time this season. Last year's team was relatively healthy the entire year (except the 9 games that Shaq missed) and won 59.
