September 10, 200323 yr Nice to see Medrano doing better. I was kinda high on him, then he had quite the slump to enter the 2003 season.
September 11, 200323 yr He's definitely an improvement over Eric Fox, who managed the AA team last year!
September 11, 200323 yr Author Nice to see Medrano doing better. I was kinda high on him, then he had quite the slump to enter the 2003 season. He started extremely slow and then over about the last 2 months of the season rasied his average a good 70 points and also drew a bunch of walks...plus stole a good amt of bases. He will compete with Hooper and Erickson for the backup/starting IF duties next season depending on if we bring in any FA or re-sign Castillo.
