April 11, 200620 yr Heard the Loria part today....mostly sounded like screened softball questions. Nothing really said, it was boring. Can't wait for Samson on Friday. That I'll try to call, and see if I can get through. I would really like to b*tchslap that little arrogant POS. I really loath him.

I don't agree, they are not South Fla people and are only interested in profits. They can only make money 2 ways -- keep rookies year after year by trading players that start to become valuable or get a completely free stadium. The City of Miami balked after Loria, when confronted about his abysmal "put up" money, which was only a pronise of future profits, not real hard cash, and I don't blame them. Loria has gone with this same approach to NC, Portland, Las Vegas and San Antonio and only SA has shown some interest so far, and there its really not more than lukewarm. The Mayor and City Manager of Miami, did the smart and RIGHT thing for the economic health of their financially straped city. Remember the City of Miami was under brankruptcy law unter just about 3 years ago, and couldn't even float its own bonds.
