April 13, 200620 yr Well today is just extremely negative so lets play some fantasy baseball. Going off of the 2005 Marlins roster, how would you have liked to see the 2006 Marlins? Keep in mind free agents and think realistic players that the marlins maybe could have had if they didn't just burn the entire team. 2005 Roster c- LoDuca 1b - Delgado 2B - Castillo 3B - Lowell SS - Gonzolez LF - Cabrera CF - Pierre RF - Enc SP - Beckett SP - Burnett SP - WIllis SP - Vargas SP - Valdez I would have liked to see furcal for SS if we could have afforded him (i forget what he got from FA). Reggie sanders for RF. Get rid of burnett, he's a bum. Same with Valdez. Bring up Olsen and Vargas to round out the rotation.
April 13, 200620 yr I would have still traded Lowell and Beckett to Bos for the players we got and JP to Cubs as well. This would have been our lineup: 1. Castillo - 2b 2. Hermida - Rf 3. Miggy - 3b 4. Delgado - 1b 5. Willingham -lf 6. Lo Duca - C 7. Shadez - ss 8. Aguila/Reed/Abercrombie 1-7 would have been amazing. Our pitching staff would have been the same as it is now, but with this lineup we would be in the hunt.
