Mark Loretta hits walk off home run

Featured Replies

Wow.

I just watched this on MLB.tv. Youklis beat out a grounder at first. Next hitter, Mark Loretta hit a walk off home run over the Green Monster, his first home run as a Red Sock.

Unbelievable.

It was pretty awesome. I'm glad we won (always glad, but some losses you take and accept) because that was one of those games that I would have hated to lose because we didn't play poorly and Seattle didn't really outplay us.

In the interview on NESN he said it was his only walk off home run in his career, on any level. That's amazing in and of itself.

I saw an update in ESPNews that showed Boston down by one run with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th, I go to grab a snack, and all of I sudden it said "Final: SEA 6 BOS 7". :o

It was even awesome watching on stat tracker. Guess it helps when you have Loretta on your fantasy roster.

i saw it on sportscenter...i knew something good was going to happen when youk beat out that throw.
