Funny but true story.

My friend's dad worked did custodian duties at the freshman building in Groveport, which is VERY close to Rickenbacker air base. One of his duties was to make sure the roof was clean of any debris that might accumulate up there.

So, once the winter snows disappeared he'd go up there and expect the usual collection of leaves, water, etc. However, he said you ALWAYS knew when Russian planes were coming and going from Rickenbacker because they had a nasty habit of losing parts.

He has a whole collection of weird little bolts, etc. with metric measurements and small russian insignias. However, the best thing in his collection is a tire. A plane tire. Russian writing on it and some of the same in chalk on the inside.

Of course, the weird thing was his brother worked at Battelle labs for the CIA and has even WEIRDER stuff than that...

The DC-10 loose alot of parts too.

impressive, best mig-29 preformance I have seen. I was more impressed by the su-27 and su-33 videos on there, those planes can maneuver.... and if what I hear is correct, the F-22 displays out west have been very impressive so far, the F-22 is doing a display over cleveland on labor day weekend, cant wait to check that out.
