Looking ahead to the 2007 MLB Draft

Featured Replies

The Royals will probably end up with the #1 overrall pick again next year. With that being said, if the season ended today, then the Marlins would have the #2 overrall pick in next years draft. Any predictions on who that may be?

Actually, we would have the # 1 overall pick even if the Royals finish with a worse record. In the MLB draft, they switch from American League to National league order every year for the # 1 overall pick.

let's wait until atleast November before we start talking about this.

BTW, don't think it is too early to start this thread. If we do end up with a top 5 pick which is very likely, it will be a very important draft for this organization, and luckily it will be a great year to have a top pick. Robert Stock a RHP / C and Michael Main a RHP / OF lead the way for the # 1 overall pick.

Let's let this year play out before we doom ourselves to a top 5 pick. Look at the Dolphins in football last year.

We will not have the #2 at season's end, guaranteed.

I agree. In fact, I'd bet anyone 1 ..............million dollars! that we won't have the # 2 overall pick. Its quite impossible.
