  1. I am not in love with Abercrombie, but I think he is the best available option we have right now. I'll take Abercrombie over Borchard, Reed, Aguila, and Ross. I don't think Abercrombie is our CF'er of the future, but I can't think of any other names to that fit that role either.
  2. Schmidt was 7-0 in 14 starts going into this game against the Marlins in his career. DTrainFan, Hanley doesn't deserve all of the blame for this loss.
  3. We didn't hit the ball in key situations. Credit Jason Schmidt on a great pitching performance.
  4. His injury is a sprained ankle. He is day-to-day.
  5. The Royals will probably end up with the #1 overrall pick again next year. With that being said, if the season ended today, then the Marlins would have the #2 overrall pick in next years draft. Any predictions on who that may be?
  6. Thanks
  7. Can someone give me a link to where you are listening to the draft from? I appreciate the help.
  8. Let me start out by saying that Superman has done a terrific job covering this draft. I am so pumped for this draft which begins at 1:00 pm. As Marlin fans, we rely on the draft for obvious reasons.
  9. Albert Pujols, Alfonso Soriano, David Wright, Miguel Cabrera, and Ryan Howard deserve MVP consideration. Ryan Zimmerman, Prince Fielder, Dan Uggla, Hanley Ramirez, and Josh Johnson deserve Rookie of the Year consideration.
