June 5, 200620 yr I mess up the first poll, Cabreara should have .361 not .261. Mod: Fixed the average. Troll Edit: Thanks Mod.
June 5, 200620 yr Will Johnson going to win Rookie of the Year? Johnson is my choice for ROY but you might to double check what you type.
June 5, 200620 yr Wow, I'm surprised only 3 people have voted for Cabs winning the MVP with Pujols possibly out for awhile.
June 5, 200620 yr I think that 2006 ROY may goes to Prince Fielder (1B, MIL). But, JJ-Hanley-Willy will get a chance to be ROY. It will be a interesting competition, i think.
June 5, 200620 yr that was rough if pujols is out an extended period of time and we make a run at .500 with a 15 mil dollar team, Cabrera will get his votes.
June 5, 200620 yr Wow, I'm surprised only 3 people have voted for Cabs winning the MVP with Pujols possibly out for awhile. I forgot about that. That might give Miggy a chance to win :thumbup .
June 5, 200620 yr Author I'm shock too. Lee and Pujols is out for a long time. We can't make it easier for Cabrera who is leading the BA early in the season and is stealing bases this year too.
June 5, 200620 yr Author Without looking at the leader board I think it is Dunn. I remember he had a quick start and has hit a monster home run against the fish early in the season. He should have atliest 10 HR this season. Looking at the leader board I say its Soriano from Nationals. He has twice HR with 21 2nd in NL behind Pujols , he is 2nd in avg with .312 behind Cabrera , and he is tied in RBI with Cabrera. Soriano look like a better choice right now.
June 5, 200620 yr David Wright's gotta be up there as well and Alfonso Soriano(even if he team stinks)
June 5, 200620 yr Johnson will be hard-pressed to get the ROY this year. He has to compete with several better-known prospects, such as Ryan Zimmerman (WSH), Prince Fielder (MIL), and maybe Lastings Milledge (NYM).
June 5, 200620 yr Anyone who votes for someone other than Cabs for the first two is living in a fantasy world

I might of missed it if it's already been said BUT...is this guy Abercrombie61?
June 5, 200620 yr Cabrera won't win MVP, he'll probably deserve it, but he'll finish behind Pujols (who unless he misses more than 3 weeks will still probably lead the NL in homers) and David Wright. Unless the Marlins make some noise from here on in. Hanley and Prince are bigger names than Johnson, remember, writers vote for this. My choice still would be Hanley, but it'll probably be Prince since power's a sexy stat.

June 6, 200620 yr It is very hard for a player on a last place team to win MVP so it will be very hard for Cabs to get it
June 6, 200620 yr Author Yeah because the rest of your team got to stink to have an MVP and still be in last place. Well the individual RBI isaffected by the players in front and that is what MLB is looking for but Cabrera got Uggla and Ramirez, all 3 over .300. If only Willingham didn't slump.
June 6, 200620 yr Albert Pujols, Alfonso Soriano, David Wright, Miguel Cabrera, and Ryan Howard deserve MVP consideration. Ryan Zimmerman, Prince Fielder, Dan Uggla, Hanley Ramirez, and Josh Johnson deserve Rookie of the Year consideration.
