Time to release Brian Moehler

im pulling for big b moe....you got to love a guy wo isnt the most talented but gives it all hes got and gets rewrded....and hey he is pitching like he did in the 1st half last year but now hes getting run support. as long as he keeps pitching like this i say keep him let him finish his career an a good note....after this year he mostly likely will be gone but he will have taught the rookies some things....some of you guys said that we dont want moe tainting the rookies minds and that may be true but he leads by example that through hard work and focus even the not so talented can be effective in the bigs. go moe!

Moehler will continue to start so that hopefully he will have value at the end of next month. After that expect Willis, Johnson, Nalasco, Olsen, and (Petit/Mitre/Vargas)

Also expect Borowski to be traded.

I can't believe this thread has even lasted this long. Whether or not some of us wanted Moehler here this year is irrelevant at this point because he has been pitching pretty well over the last month or so. Every time I want to condemn the guy he turns it on. He gave up two runs in the first but was solid after that, it wasn't fancy but he never lost it on the mound. Surely the young guys will do well to follow his leadership. And don't you think that this guy must have been doing something right in the clubhouse if we brought him back after showing so many others the door?
