July 21, 200620 yr This team is not ready for primetime but the thing is there are no primetime players in the WC race... it's a race between mediocre and bad teams. Prior to the homestand I thought there was a chance to get back into the WC race but 4-4 vs bad teams hasn't helped.
July 21, 200620 yr the team is just not ready for primetime I think yesterday before the game I made a comment that the Marlins had a small shot of grabbing the Wild Card. I have since reconsidered. That game was very hard to watch. :thumbdown

When we can only get a run or two of IAN SNELL and then our main bullpen guys blow it in the 8th and we can't put away the Pittsburgh Pirates......that's a sign. Ian Snell is a real solid prospect... that being said, the offense is DEAD... absolutely dead the team just aint ready for prime time :blink: Im trying to say the offense is DEAD RIGHT NOW.... what is so hard to understand? Im not saying they are dead on the season, but right now Oh. I misunderstood you.
