X-Men 4

Featured Replies

Sounds like it's a go...but none of the big name actors have signed.

"X-Men" executive producer Lauren Shuler Donner talked to LA Daily News about X-Men 4, for which they would have to renegotiate with the bigger stars, and also Wolverine and Magneto:

"The newer cast members are signed, and the older cast members are not." Considering the older names involved -- Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Romijn, Famke Janssen and Anna Paquin -- that could run into a huge chunk of money.

All that's putting the cart before the wolverine, of course, since Hugh Jackman is set to reprise his role as the manicure-challenged mutant superhero in his own film. "Next, we're going to do 'Wolverine,' but not before the end of the year because he's in the Baz Luhrmann film," she says of the filmmaker's untitled Australian epic with Nicole Kidman. However, "We have the script and are working on it."

Shuler Donner reports, "We also have 'Young Magneto' in development."

Interestingly, they mention Janssen--but I'm pretty sure I saw her get killed. Maybe one of the comic gurus can explain how she could come back....again?

Let this franchise die. The third one sucked something fierce, but made a ton of money so I guess a fourth one was inevitable.

NBC has that heroes show that looks more X-Men than the current X-Men movies.

So, I'm sure they could get away without having Wolverine, Storm and Rogue in the picture. ;)

The third one was terrible, yes. But as long as they get rid of Bret Ratner, bring in a REAL director and add Gambit to a 4th X-men, it will be a hell of alot better and make more money for fox than a Wolverine movie or Young Magneto (that sounds awful).

X-Men 3 had its' moments, but they do need to change directors.

I can't imagine how Jean could come back THIS time.

However, you can still bring back Rogue, Magneto, Mystique, and even Xavier.

Cyclops is still toast. The Juggernaut's status is unknown, but you could probably bring him back since you never see him die on-camera.

By the end of X3, the roster was getting pretty thin. It was down to Wolverine, Storm, Iceman, Colossus, Shadowcat, and Beast. I don't count Angel, because he only rescued his dad, and that was it.

Maybe you could have Mystique join the X-Men, since she was betrayed by Magneto? Her powers will probably return like Magneto's.

I would like to see Nightcrawler back, along with new additions like Gambit, Angel as a team member, Banshee, Emma Frost, and maybe Sunfire.

I have no idea who the villain should be. I'm thinking Mister Sinister.
