Since I cant seem to start a topic in the press box i put this here.

Why was Spikes Topic in the "Other Sports" forum closed???

lack of interest in 2007 SIU recruits i suppose

i hope that's not the case.

a forum should be an opportunity for exchange of information, for a poster to try and inform others on things that they themselves are interested in.

his post wasn't vulgar at all, it just so happened to be a topic that doesn't have a large following on this site. If people aren't interested they can click on (as i did) and simply decide not to post.

He was discussing other sports besides baseball in the "other sports" forum. Whoever closed that topic had no right to do so. Unless, of course, I'm missing the real reason for the closing.

I closed it bascially cause of the reason Admin said.

that topic was receiving replies that were going to get out of hand...so before that happened i shut it down.

I was trying to prevent the fire before having to put it out.

i see your point but i think its sad that a perfectly resonable and legit topic has to be closed because other posters cant be mature
