Nomar Has The Best Backup Ever

Recommended Posts

Nomar was banged up today so James Loney got the start.

Loney, 22, simply drove in 9 runs in just 6 innings.

He slugged a second-inning grand slam, doubled in two runs in the third inning, singled in a run in the fifth inning and lined a two-run homer in the sixth.

He tied a 56-year old record for the Dodgers in terms of RBI, set by Gil Hodges.

Oh, yeah the Dodgers won by a score of 19-11 over the Rockies.
