April 16, 200719 yr I saw the entire season, and I didn't think there was one boring episode. I'm pretty damn surprised by the success, and the way things have panned out leaves so many possibilities next year. Also, you have to consider the fact that this show can easily go at least 3 seasons simply because the star QB was only a sophomore this year.
April 16, 200719 yr Author I saw the entire season, and I didn't think there was one boring episode. I'm pretty damn surprised by the success, and the way things have panned out leaves so many possibilities next year. Also, you have to consider the fact that this show can easily go at least 3 seasons simply because the star QB was only a sophomore this year. See that's the thing, every single character on the show is developed. Each one of them had an arc this season. Saracen had an arc earlier in the season but then he started to appear less in episodes after his main arc (his rise to star QB) was finished. Great show, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loved Rudy, Remember the Titans, and all those other great football movies. The beauty about this show is that its not about football. It's really about a small town in Texas. Texas forever...
April 21, 200719 yr probably my favorite program on - love the way it's filmed and the wide range of characters - glad to hear they'll get a shot at season 2
October 5, 200719 yr Bravo is currently airing season 1 marathon right now. And for fans of the show, season 2 starts tonight on NBC at 9pm.
October 5, 200719 yr The season premiere has also been up on tv.yahoo.com for a couple of days now if anyone can't catch the show tonight. I haven't watched it yet because the feed was pretty bad quality and real choppy, so I prefer to wait for it to air in HD quality tonight. I have seen Season 1 a total of like 3 times now, as I've been slowly trying to get my family and roommates into the show. Thankfully, they're all caught up now.
October 5, 200719 yr 2 more eps to go to finish Season One. It doesn't really become a great show until like 8 episodes in or so, but then it's pretty consistently great. I've heard the season opener has a potential jump the shark moment, and I kind of know what it is, but not exactly, and anyway I'm not gonna say here.

January 20, 200818 yr One of the best shows on TV, and there are still new episodes going on right now. They tackle all the important issues like race, family and peer pressure, but it's so subtle and well scripted that even though you barely recognize the message you come away impressed by it.
