October 3, 200620 yr Premieres tonight at 8 EST on NBC. I'm a little worried about the time period, it faces very tough popular shows. I'll be shocked if it gets more than 10 million viewers. Historically, sports theme shows don't do well on primetime so we'll see. I probably will not be watching it tonight due to playoffs, so i'll tivo it for Thursday morning viewing.

October 6, 200620 yr There were very few commercials, especially at the beginning. Must have had some big time sponsors. Well I am thinking the Yankees game is what made the viewership so low (that was the Yankees game right?)

October 28, 200620 yr i love this show and hopefully the heroes pullover will give it a boost - out of all the shows I watch, this is probably the one that I want to see the next episode the quickest people need to realize it's not just a sports show - good acting, good characters, good storylines and I would love to play for the coach hope this sticks because it's got great potential
December 7, 200619 yr Author Anyone still watching? It has turned out to be a quality show. It feels very real and its played wonderfully by all the actors. It's moving to Wednesdays at 8 starting in January.

December 7, 200619 yr Well I've read the book and I'm somewhat obsessed with it and the movie counterpart. I was skeptical about the miniseries because they're basically only using the name "Friday Night Lights" and the Permian Panthers, and nothing else at all. But I did like the one episode so I'll watch another.

Our HS football team broke into a fat teacher's car and put it with the doors in between a telephone pole and a dumpster. There was less than an inch on either side. They then filled the back seat with cow pies. I played no role in this heinous crime against this evil teacher.
April 13, 200719 yr Author I love this show. The finale aired last night and it was spectacular. Did anybody watch the whole season? I heard NBC ordered 6 scripts so we'll see. I guess we'll find out for sure on May 14.
