I found that on the web detailing our top prospects. I thought it was a pretty kewl read. Some of you much more knowledgable with the panthers could perhaps tell more on some of the rookies down below or provide even better websites it would be welcome.

Thats the best site for prospects. I love it.

I can't wait for Kenndal McArdle

well, I can give a scouting report on Dan Travis. the website give him a VERY low rating.

I have the opportunity to see him play pretty much every week since he plays for my school and my close friend is the teams manager. He is on a line with Brandon Wong, a freshman from the Asian Hockey Hotbed of Victoria, BC. (home to the Kariya family), who definently has the speed and skill of Paul Kariya. (He's been named ECAC rookie of the week I think 3 or 4 times this year already)

This line is the 2nd line, but they play like a first line.

Travis is ranked 4th on the team with 14 points with 4 goals and 10 assists (3rd on the team in assists). He is also not afraid to get physical leading the team with 46 PIMs (22 more than the next closest player).

and the best part! He still has 1 more year of elegibility. Next year I expect him to step up in a captain or assistant captain role. I have a good feeling about Dan. I really think that he is going to be a force for the Panthers in the not too distant future (but they can't have him until he's done here!)

Travis is an all around player and is definently a driving force in Quinnipiac's run in the ECAC. We are nationally ranked No. 17 in INCH poll, No. 20 by USCHO.com. They also recieved 5 votes in the USA Today poll.

The Quinnipiac bobcats, in their second year of ECAC hockey, btw, are ranked 1st in the league currently (and this is the league with Clarkson, St. Lawerence, Yale, Harvard, Cornell, Colgate and Dartmouth)...they are 5-2-3 in conference play (9-4-4 overall) with 13 points...2 ahead of 2nd place Cornell.

hope this helps you guys out! GO BOBCATS!
