Posted December 13, 200618 yr Does anyone know how to get ticket vouchers for Panthers games, or if there are any type of student discounts? My friends and I really want to go to the game on 11/24 against the Rangers, but with tickets at like 16 bucks, us poor college students can't afford it.
December 13, 200618 yr Author I know you can get an upper level voucher at Miami Subs with a combo meal, though I do not know if that applies for the Rangers game. For $20 extra, you can upgrade it to a lower level seat ($25). So you buy a combo, and then you get a 5 dollar ticket?
December 14, 200618 yr If you buy a combo at Miami Subs, you get a voucher that gives you an upper level ticket for 5 bucks each. When you go redeem that voucher, for $20 even you can upgrade to lower level and they usually give you a good spot. I don't know if they have new vouchers though, the last one I had was for the game yesterday.
December 14, 200618 yr I plan to go to the Rangers game and I don't have a ticket. I went to a Ranger game last year and scalped standing room only's for $5 off some dude. As always, having only paid $5, went to the lower level after the first period because that's how I roll. Doing the same thing this time around but I thought the game was on the 21st?
December 14, 200618 yr i don't scalp, i don't buy scalped...i do have a friend with a private box :evil and when I don't get the box, I man up and pay the fee.
December 14, 200618 yr They have a deal where if you bring 5 non-winner lottery tickets to the box office you'll receive a FREE ticket. The offer only applies to certain days though, call 954-835-PUCK for more info on it.

You just said that you go for free in the private box, but then you dont want to get vouchers. There is no point of paying full price if people are selling them for a fraction of the price. Plus the panthers dont deserve fans paying full price to see them, they are garbage.

For me its not a huge deal as Im only able to go to about 6-10 home games per year because of school breaks...btw, I paid $30 to sit in MSG for a game...top section with all the crazies...its half that at BAC for the same area...and I don't have to pay for a train and the subway too!

Subway's $2 and the train's what, $10? You probably spend more on gas driving to the games in Florida. And at the Garden, you're closer to the action (at any level) than in Sunrise.

Train is $26 one way from New Haven! and if I take Amtrak, sure I avoid the subway, but still. It costs the same for me to travel to Mets vs Marlins games as it does to get to Rangers games, and its a big dent out of this college kids pocket. as far as the voucher argument, I'll throw the white flag...can someone tell me where to get these vouchers?
