January 28, 200719 yr Author I finally saw this. I'm not sure where I'd put it just yet. But I really enjoyed it.
January 28, 200719 yr Saw it last night, and it has to be the best war movie I've seen since Saving Private Ryan. It was slightly better in some ways than Black Hawk Down, although those were completely different military operations. Very interesting look at conditions for the average Japanese soldier, which has not really been shown well on screen until now.
