I was thinking I'd be fine if I got there at 11 but some people told me that they go on sale at 9 am the day of... and that there's lines already trying to purchase... I am first buying berm tickets, not just looking for a good spot on the grass... would I be able to still purchase (still be available) at 10:30-11 am if they go on sale at 9?

Well, I never purchased a berm seat but you could get there around 9am and maybe go out for breakfast and go to the mall and shop a bit (Mall is about 5-10 minutes from the stadium). Just a suggestion :thumbup .
