granted they never should have fired RC like they did, but thats a different issue.

I don't think having Franchione as a head coach is any sort of coup.

many were crowning him as the next legend.

I wasn't a student here when he was hired, but I doubt I would have been running through hoops for a guy who was 17-8 in two years at Alabama.

 

The only real good 'breaks' the athletic department has gotten since I've been here was Gillispie and getting Pat Henry from LSU for track & field.
