May 4, 200719 yr hey everyone. i have a huge marketing project for next year. I basically need to create a website. i need to pay someone or a company that can make websites when i give them my ideas and information on what the site is about. im sure i need to pay for it to because it will need to b a .com and cant b one of those free sites people make. i need to advertise on the site and pull in a revenue to show how i created some very small type of business. i have all of the ideas in my head but i have no idea how you create a website, who to get in contact with to make it and how to get people to advertise and pull small amounts of money per click on their advertisement. does anyone know how to get something started? this is a school project for my senior year and i want to get my site up and running for next year. i basically wondering if someone can give me some type of advice how to start up a website and get someone to design it for me. i dont know how much this will all cost but its like my grade for a whole semester.
May 4, 200719 yr You can use Blogger. It is Google's free, yet legit blog service. It will allow you to partner with Google and Google will place and sell the ads for you allowing you to collect a commission. http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answ...pic=&type=f
May 4, 200719 yr Author thanks. I have to show that the site grew in popularity over time. the project is basically starting a business. and then you need to type like a 30 page paper about the company you made and blah blah blah all that good stuff. major stressed about this lol
May 4, 200719 yr Since you said it needs a .com address, I assume you're in need of domain name of your own. The blogger link gives you a space on an existing domain, (yoursite.blogspot.com), however if you need your own space (yoursite.com), you could start here : https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/hosting/host...site.asp?ci=416 You'd register whichever name you'd like, and the templates give you ability to have multiple pages up and running in no time. Once you get that started, you'll have the ability to place Google Ads on it as well.
