If you record at home, what program do you use?

 

Any suggestions would be helpful, im just looking to switch, and im not sure what to download

    Protools is insanely expensive...

     

    I like Synapse Orion Platinum... it's a much cheaper option with great tools and easy MIDI / Aux capabilities.

     

    You'll also want to use a pre-amp, I use the Pro-tools LE pre-amp, with a BLUE Baby Bottle mic.

    I recommend Motu Digital Performer 5. Pro Tools with out the sticker shock.
