I've been wanting and hoping the Fish would trade for BJ Upton or even try for Justin Upton as both the D-Rays and D-Backs are have more talented position players in the minors then the Marlins. I would expect them both to ask for A lot but was wondering what would you give up for one of these guys?

Unfortunately I think it is pretty safe to say the chance to get BJ Upton has passed with his success this year, which a lot of folks predicted. We could of gotten him in the offseason in moves but out of all of the "rookies" of the Drays Upton has been the best by far and if he qualified could be a RoY canidate.

 

 

As for Justin he has been amazing in the minors this year and truly worthy of the number 1 overall pick. He has shown the ability of a 5 tool player and superstar going up the promotions fast. Unless we gave up Willis for him pretty much straight up I doubt we could get him.

 

But if he keeps doing great it could perhaps make chris young available again for trade.

It'd take alot to get one of the Upton brothers. Any package discussing one of these guys would automatically have to include Dontrelle Willis.
