NL Leaders - Runs scored

Recommended Posts

Everyone knows Hanley is number one in the league in runs scored, but do you wanna take a guess who's #2?

"His name is Dan Uggla!"

He's slowly been creeping up the leaderboard and it's nice to see two Marlins up there.

Interesting notes:

1) The Phillies have the #3 and #4 spots (Rollins and Utley, respectively).

2) Both the Marlins and Phillies tandem are middle infielders. I wonder when was the last time that happened.

I don't think Ramirez will keep up his current pace unless he returns to the leadoff spot. Still, it's nice to have to middle infielders that can hit like the Marlins pair can. Too bad neither of them is close to an average defender.

Uggla is an above average defender. Hanley plays SS like everyone else in their 2nd season at the position in the show.

Give it a rest people.
