okay, thanks. I thought Rich/Tommy mentioned about the 3 inn/50 pitch thing tonight. The Hammerhead's site said Derrell McCall was throwin' tonight. I'm gonna go to the game.

what side will the hamerheads be on, third base dugout or first base..since they're playing the Cardinals?

Josh went 3.1 innings, allowing 3 hits, no walks and no runs, while striking out two. Very encouraging outing!

he threw real well. One of the three hits, should of been an out...Gaby tried to scoop a groudball and was unsuccesful. The scorekeeper was very generous to the fielders. Agustin (SS) had a ball go right through his legs, practically, and it was called a hit. Trent D'Antonio agreed with me. It was neat seeing the players talking to the fans etc... Trent was pegging sweet tarts at this one kid, who couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Trent blamed it all on me..lol. Marceaux was talking with a bunch of guys (one of them logan kensing). Jacob blew a bubble and took the gum out of his mouth (still with the bubble) and threw it at one kid..lol. I got FORTY-NINE autographs...great day today. Two of all the players that were on the team set of cards. I got Josh Johnson to sign 5 cards and a 4x6 picture of him feeding the giraffe mouth-to-mouth at Lion Country Safari. He thought it was pretty funny. I also got 7 of Jacob Marceaux and 9 of Brett Sinkbeil. Sink wasn't in uniform tonight, he was in the crowd behind the dugout. I wish I would of brought my kensing stuff..shoulda known he'd be there to see JJ pitch. I got a foul ball too, and almost got a homerun ball. I saw SoFlaFish and his son at the game getting 'graphs and all....couldn't remember his username though, so I didn't say anything. Anyway, here are the pics:

damn, I look dorrrky with long hair..ouch.

I was there tonight with EvenLittlerSoFlaFish. We didn't even know Johnson was pitching until we saw the starting lineups on the board. We were there because it was the annual baseball card set giveaway and EvenLittlerSoFlaFish loves to get his free cards and get them all autographed. Last year he got the entire Palm Beach Cardinals set signed, so this season we thought we'd get the Hammerheads set signed.

Johnson looked okay. Not overpowering or dominating, but he did manage to keep the ball down and managed to get out of innings with grounders.

That's okay, I really only recognize a couple of people on-sight from the board if I run into them (Yes, that would be you BroncoBob27!)

Anyway, here's a look at the action from tonight from my camera (and, YES, that is Josh Johnson wearing #43):
