Fort Lauderdale mayor under fire...

The controversy started last month when Naugle, a Democrat, said the city needs to buy single-occupancy public toilets to "reduce homosexual sex in bathrooms." Naugle then opposed a plan to put a collection of gay and lesbian literature -- some including adult content -- in a public library. The library collection was approved anyway.

Fort Lauderdale police report there have been four incidents of alleged male sex acts in public bathrooms since November 2005.

:lol what a jackass.

This was the same guy who when trying to kill an affordable housing law a few years back stated:

"People could afford a place to live if they were willing to work harder. I'm supposed to subsidize some schlock sitting on the sofa and drinking a beer, who won't work more than 40 hours a week?"

And this guy's a six-term mayor?

Sounds like voting in favor of a national amendment to the Constitution to ban flag-burning, when there have only been like 15 incidents in the past 20 years.

Naugle is awesome. He's an extreme conservative in charge of one of the most liberal cities in America, yet he keeps getting re-elected because Democrats in Broward are idiotic enough to vote for anyone with a D next to their name. Brilliant!
