August 12, 200719 yr So, me and my cousin Chris are coming back from a family get together and we're cruising down Route 1 going 55-60 when some dumb ass woman decides that it would be a good time to pull out into traffic. Directly in my path. I had to slam on my brakes like I've never had to before to avoid hitting her and even then, it was by some miracle that I didn't. I also made sure to be holding down my horn the entire time. I know she saw me coming. I was close enough before she pulled out that I could see her look both ways first. Seriously, how stupid can people be?
August 12, 200719 yr Gosh, it can't be that .... that ..... OLD PEOPLE SHOULDN'T BE ON THE ROAD?! :mischief
August 12, 200719 yr Once these god damned kids stop playing on their lawn they'll get off the roads.
August 12, 200719 yr Similar thing happened to me recently on a trip to Orlando but it wasn't as close as yours. It still freaked me out though.

August 12, 200719 yr 2 days ago I was on 595 east getting on the ramp to turnpike. Its a 2 lane Ramp and I'm a car length behind and a lane over from a Semi who is on the exit only part of the Ramp. The Semi realizes hes on the wrong ramp and slams on his breaks and turns into my lane to try and get back on 595I have no idea how i avoided him. It felt like some kind of Indy car instincts but i swerved to the lane he was in to pass him and just missed him. I could have put my hand out the window and grabbed his truck thats how close it was.
