Posted October 29, 200717 yr If Miami beats both Virginia and Virginia Tech, and win the rest of their games, and Virginia and Virgina Tech win the rest of their games as well, there would be a three way tie for first place in the ACC Coastal. So what kind of tiebreaker would there be?
October 29, 200717 yr Author Virginia is 4-1, Virginia Tech is 3-1, Miami is 2-2, In the ACC of course.

October 29, 200717 yr Author Yeah I get you, since Miami beats them, we have advantage because we won the series

So what kind of tiebreaker would there be? To begin with both VT and UVA couldnt win out, since they play each other to finish the year. So Miami would be in a tie with VT or UVA, and since they would have beaten both, they would go to the ACC Championship game
October 29, 200717 yr If Miami wins out, they win the division. That's a rather big if. There is also a senario that miami could win the next three games, and then have a meaningless game with BC at the end of the year (where both teams would have won divisions and be scheduled to play eachother again the following week).
