February 24, 200818 yr Is there a Tri-rail station very close by to the Orange Bowl. How far is the walk?
February 24, 200818 yr Nope, it's near the airport which is at least 2.5 miles. You could transfer and take Metro-Rail which stops at Civic Center and Culmer, both of which are 10-15 minute walks. I know when the Metro Rail expands (maybe in 2050... but the plans are in definitely in the works) there will be a line that runs along 836 and that will surely stop at the Marlins stadium. But yeah, Culmer and Civic Center are easy walks.
February 25, 200818 yr There will probably be shuttle service between the stadium site and the Civic Center Metrorail station like there was for Dolphins games back in the day. Plus, the Metrorail line that will run alongside 836 is NOT planned to go anywhere near the stadium site. That line will eventually terminate at the Earlington Heights Metrorail Station.
February 25, 200818 yr i think their planing to take up dolphins stadium put that after marlins move that be cool if have bus go from Civic Center to new ballpark
February 25, 200818 yr One of the hot topics during the meeting at FanFest was getting to the new place. Samson said many times that educating the public on their options to getting there is a priority. We are in the wait and see mode until the shovels hit the dirt.
