March 18, 200818 yr For those of you who may be interested, British comic (and "Executive Transvestite") Eddie Izzard is performing at The Filmore at the Jackie Gleason Center on Friday, June 13th. He may not be everyone's "Cup of Tea," and you may need to have an MA or a Ph.D. in liberal arts to get some of his references, but his stand-up routine is one of the funniest I've ever seen. I've already got my tickets.
March 18, 200818 yr Yeah, I just found out yesterday that he was coming down, but sadly it is the same weekend as Marlins @ Rays and I am going to be in Tampa Bay. To anyone who is going to be here and doesn't mind missing a game, he is going to be down here both Friday, 6/13, and Saturday, 6/14. He's awesomely funny...and British.
