SportsFin
Baseball Digest Daily had a really interesting write up on Chris Coghlan and the adjustments he has made with his swing from college up to today. The piece uses some video analysis of Coghlin. The link to the article is below... Adjustments of Chris Coghlan From that article, I found this scouting report on Logan Morrison, which I also link to below: Logan Morrison scouting report I think he's the second one down on the list. I think both these guys are overlooked by a lot of people. And both have gotten off to excellent starts this season. I'm not sure I see Morrison as an every day player due to his right/lefty splits, but he mashes right handed pitchers.
The_Godfather
Great stuff, thanks. I am really high on Coghlan, think he will be our starter come 2009 for sure. Yes he struggled in Jupiter last year, but that was a late season call up where he went from a hitters park to an extreme pitcher's park. I gotta think that played a factor into his numbers. So far so good btw in double A ball for him, putting up some very nice numbers.

I love the Brian Roberts comparison, If he is half as good defensively as Roberts, Uggla's days at 2nd for the Marlins are numbered

I've tried to find information on that but have struck out thus far.

I've tried to find information on that but have struck out thus far. He has 2 errors on the year so far and I believe both of them might have been in the same game, early in the year(like the 2nd or 3rd game of the season). From what I hear though he has nice range and a strong arm for a 2nd basemen, he just has never fielded the position before but should be fine in the long term. He is killing it offensively in double A so far.
