LetsG0Fish
Hopefully. 3 strikes your out for A. Miller. He needs some more time in the minors.
The_Godfather
I'd rather call up Gaby Hernandez. Why does none consider him when talking call ups? BTW, He started today in triple A.
Sirspud
I'd rather call up Gaby Hernandez. Why does none consider him when talking call ups? BTW, He started today in triple A. Gaby went from being the next big thing in ST last year to off the radar. I guess they're disappointed because he has never really dominated minor league ball the last 2 years, but he really isn't supposed to be a dominant pitcher to begin with. Why we stuck with guys like Vanden Hurk and Miller while Gaby has been down there is beyond me.
Rabbethan
I doubt it. My guess is that Miller will stay in the rotation since he looked better today than the last start. Remember, he had a crappy first two inning, but he did come back and pitched 3 solid innnings. His location was a bit better and he had great movement on the curve. 4 walks, but 6 Ks. 30plus
I am willing to give Miller a couple more starts before sending him down. If he can go 12+ innings and give up less than 6 runs between his next 2 starts then he should stay up.
Ns2003
yeah, he improved a little bit this time around. He deserves at least one more start up here.
Hammerhead
Volstad is not ready yet and there's really no reason to rush him and screw with the 2010 rotation. Doug Waechter is 27 and has no future with the team. He was brought in for situations like this and he has started games before. He doesn't have great stuff but if he gets shelled once every five days, who cares? He's most likely the guy if when Miller goes down.
