April 22, 200818 yr Ryan Sandberg? That's just off the top of my head, there must be more. I'm not sure if Sandberg even belongs. He's a borderline guy. If he's so deserving then Trammel and Whitaker should get a lot of consideration. I would probably leave all of them out. Other than Ozzie, are there any other worse hitters to make it to the hall of fame the past 30 years (excluding the veterans committee guys)?
April 23, 200818 yr Author Ok so, yeah, Barry Zito flat out sucks. Guy's getting paid all this money, and start after start he is ineffective. What a waste of $$.
April 23, 200818 yr I was tempted to do that Puma :lol Yeah, how dare Rab misspell the name of a HOFer! What would I do without you?

April 30, 200818 yr Author Roy Halladay. 3 straight complete games--all 3 were losses! Unreal! In the modern game, a complete game is hard to come by. For God's sake, Blue Jays, score some freakin' runs for this guy!!
April 30, 200818 yr Zito got demoted to the bullpen, so now the Giants are paying 126 million for a reliever...good work by them!!!
May 3, 200818 yr What a day for Auggie Ojeda. 3-4 with 6 RBIs. Way to make the most of your opportunity to start with Orlando Hudson on the bench.
May 4, 200818 yr Author What a day for Auggie Ojeda. 3-4 with 6 RBIs. Way to make the most of your opportunity to start with Orlando Hudson on the bench. Interesting tidbit: Ojeda was the last D-back to have 6 RBIs in a game since Micah Owings did it in Atlanta last year. And the previous D-back to have 6 RBIs in a game before Owings did it was playing against the D-backs in today's game; Damion Easley, who also hit his 6 rbis in Atlanta while he was with the D-backs a few years back. Funny how things tie together like that :mis2

May 4, 200818 yr So the Dodgers have won 8 in a row, 3-6 coming in that sweep against the Marlins. Furcal is on fire and Kent is still driving in runs. Pierre is hitting some balls hard which is always nice to hear in regards to a former Marlin. He's earning himself some starting time and has his average up to .313 and his OBP to .389, going 7-12 in his last 3 games. I never remember him as tearing up lefties in his days with the fish, but he's hitting at a .474 ( ) clip against them this season. If he keeps ripping the ball the Dodgers can't continue benching him. Another Marlin turned Dodger is pitching well. Penny is 5-2 with a 3.19 ERA. Then again, he always has a solid first half.
May 11, 200818 yr He did it! Carlos Gomez hits for the cycle! Man, he really has been ripping it up for the Twins.
June 12, 200818 yr Author Montero sac-fly! D-backs lead 5-4!!! Alright come on Lyon, shut 'em down in the 10th
June 12, 200818 yr Author Game! Chris Aguila (haha, member him?) grounds out into a DP to end the game.
June 12, 200818 yr The final five Mets hitters are ex Marlins. C. Delgado 1B D. Easley 2B R. Castro C L. Castillo PH C. Aguila LF
