30plus
Anybody else having trouble getting the marlins game, or any game for that matter? At first it blacked me out which didn't make any sense because I don't live in Florida. Right now its just showing an error message. Damn it I need to get Direct t.v. Tee Ball Bunt Machine
Anybody else having trouble getting the marlins game, or any game for that matter? At first it blacked me out which didn't make any sense because I don't live in Florida. Right now its just showing an error message. Damn it I need to get Direct t.v. Just call their tech support. I had an issue one time where the 1.2 feed wasn't working, and they got me back to watching the game. As for the blackout, you should be able to check by zip code which teams you have a blackout for. I would guess that you were by chance within the blackout area for the opposing team. But I haven't had any (unexpected) problems with that. Y08Marlin
mlb.tv just seems to act up once in a while. It refused to let me watch 400K once and just kept asking me to upgrade. My experience with Tech support wasn't so good. They dropped my call 5 times and then I gave up.
RatherDashing
I had MLB.tv in 06 and it was a real f&*#er. I'm from the Philly area so my Phillies games would get blacked out UNLESS I signed into MLB.tv before the games started. So, I couldn't switch between a Phillies game, then a Marlins game, then back to a Phillies game. I ended up missing Ani's no-hitter that way. Ugh. Sort of off-topic, but, you know what's really weird? I have Extra Innings, and any game that's the Nats v. whoever, the other team's feed gets blacked out for me! Even Philly vs. Nats, I have to watch it on dumb MASN. (I don't have Comcast to watch the Phils, that's why I have Extra Innings; local feeds don't get blacked out like they do on MLB.TV) But hey, heads-up: Apparently you can watch the most recent 5 games for free on MLB.tv. I went to the Yahoo! Box score of the game from last night, and clicked on the "MLB.TV" archive, figuring it was a two-minute recap, and it was the whole game! You can only watch each game once, though. But still, cool! Good luck with your MLB.tv, though.
JackRubysDog
No problems with mlb.tv here, aside from the occasional jerkiness, but then I am watching it in England, so being "out-of-market" is never quite an issue. I've had it since Aug '07 and only once had a problem when my PC crashed and locked out my account for a day. Can't really afford to call support and my emails went unanswered, but thankfully it cleared itself. The new "adverts" are a pain though. I don't need to be told Manny Ramirez has nearly hit 500 homers six or seven times a game.
