Chat feature on this website?

Featured Replies

Out of curisoity, can we enable some sort of chat feature on this website? My other 'teams' websites mostly use a chat feature during the games as opposed to a topic thread, which I personally find rather annoying. I know I am not the only one since someone, during a recent gameday thread, even mentioned doing an AIM chat session. I think it would be easier on everyone if we could setup a chat room in additon to a gameday thread. It makes the gameday experience 10,000X better. JMHO. Thanks

Yeah. I'm the one that asked if we could start an AIM chat.

I know game threads are a tradition here at MB.com, but I would think that a chat room would be a whole lot easier, and more fun. Having to keep refreshing the page sucks. And when something big happens during a game, the game threads are pelted with posts and its nearly impossible to keep up with what people are trying to say.

Just my 2 cents.

Well, here's my suggestion, Come game-time, someone starts an AIM-Chat room, everyone can keep the mb.com forum up, and everyone can chat/post away at the same time... I mean, it's not really crazy... and, people can keep logs of the chats (I know I have AIMLogging on)... but yeah, the gamethreads are good to have

If you press the F5 key, it'll refresh the page for ya, it's quicker and easier IMO

The game threads give us something to look back at which is especially nice when something big happens. I don't want to see them replaced.

+1. I don't like the idea of putting it in a chat. Auto-refreshing would probably be cool, and not to hard to pull off, but with the strain the server is already under, it probably doesn't need any extra.
