First of all, THE MARLINS ARE AWESOME ! and I absolutely love Josh Beckett (can't wait for AJ to get back next year ).... well I was wondering what's the deal with Josh's number, I didn't notice untill his last few starts but he's wearing number 21 now eventhough he started with number 61, It's silly but it's killing me , so if someone knows anything about that , then please tell me !

He changed it after he came back from the DL and threw one game. He decided that 61, Livan Hernandez' old number, was not bringing him much luck or something...

I think he changed it to honor Roger Clemens

Had he had his way, he would have been 19 all the time (his number from the minors). Since Mike Lowell already had it, he used 61 - 19 upside down. After not winning and being frustrated, he changed it to 21.
