Dan Uggla - Your 2008 NL MVP?

We are almost halfway through the season. It may be a little early, but I think we can still discuss. The question becomes can he sustain this pace through the second half? And will sportswriters take notice of what he has done if he does so?

Yep - No- referring to the degree to which a certain quality is present; "he was no MVP"

Berkman and Utley are the only ones that I think are more likely to win it than Uggla. Pujols and Chipper will both miss 20 or more games and that will take them out of it.

Dan Uggla so far this season compared to the rest of second-basemen in the league...

5th best batting average

4th in walks

2nd in RBI

1st in homeruns (leads the league)

2nd in triples

7th in hits

2nd in runs scored

---Not only a solid arguement for MVP. But people may bash but i say give him a multi-year deal...

This is not a career year for Dan Cooley Uggla but just the third consecutive year of improvement, he is only 28.

Yup, it's June.

Phillie fans have been chanting MVP for Utley since week two.

We already know they are retarded, though.

Phillie fans... sigh :banghead
