Extended his hit streak to six games on Thursday. Four of those games have been multi-hit games. He's homered and knocked in 4 runs over that span. When does he start getting the nod every day?

He became the everyday CF a few weeks ago when Jones left.

Amezaga still gets starts vs righties.

he had a lot more than 5 games with 3 ABs in june

I'm not going to count them all

But I'm guessing you're looking at the wrong column

As polo said, when Jones got DFA'd, Ross has started since.

His defense has improved a lot from last year which is what makes me happy. He was very melky-like last year, not being able to get many balls outside of his zone although getting a ton within his zone (which makes a very good corner OFer but not a very good CFer). However, where as he was only averaging an OOZ play once every 47.8 inn last year, he's averaging one every 15 inn this year, more than three times the rate, and has been one of the better defensive CFers in the majors so far.

And, although not by much, his offense is certainly above average for a CFer (average CF OPS: .742). So considering both his offense and defense is above average, it makes me rather frustrated when there are reports that we're looking to trade for a CFer.

25 games in June with atleast 3 ABs.

In June, he only didn't start 5 games in CF, as he started 2 games in RF.
