July 13, 200818 yr Went to see the flick tonight. Visuals are amazing. Dialog isn't anything to write home about. Story is pretty good. Overall a B- or 7 outta 10.

July 13, 200818 yr the comic movies seem to lack a good story usually. Most are decent but not great. I just get nervous after seeing Spiderman 3. That was the worst film ever and was so ridiculous. I just get nervous for every film after that, because you can only drag or make a story go on for so long. Dark Knight is supposed to kick ass though so I am excited for that.
July 13, 200818 yr Author If you have never read a Hellboy comic or seen the first movie, you are at a disadvantage as to what the flick is all about. The characters have a ceratain dry humor to them that might be lost on you if you have never been exposed to them before. The story itself is self-contained, and does not require viewing the first flick, but you probably watch the fisrt one, as this one doesn't explain the origins pf everyone very well for the newcomers.
